私の在所信州松代において、一昨日24日亥の刻頃から大地震があり、城内の住居、櫓並びに囲いの塀等が大変多く破損し、家中の屋敷、城下町、領分の村々その外支配所でも潰れた家が数多く、死者も大変多く、特に村方では出火もあり、その上山中筋で山抜け崩れが起こり犀川へ押し埋まって水が溜まり、追々満水となり、もちろん流水は一切なく、北国往還の丹波島宿の渡船場も干上がりとなりました。この上右の溢水が押し出す方向によっては、どのような変化が起こるかも計り難く存じます。かつ今でも時々揺れております。詳細については
