現代語訳

二山は皆台州に属する。封舟が閩に帰る針路は、本来温州南杞山を取るべきであった。この二山はまた南杞の北五百里にある。船体が大きく北に開いて行き、南杞を離れること八更ほど遠い。日晡に北風に転ず。丁未針を用いること三更。日入に舟は鳳尾山に至る。風止んで錨を下ろす。

二十五日壬戌。風なし。舟は鳳尾山に泊す。夜雨が降る。数隻の小船が来て様子を伺う。警戒して明に至る。

二十六日癸亥。日の出に東北風。錨を起こして行く。大いに雷雨す。旋風があって帆を転がす。日晡に壬亥風に転ず。単未坤未を用いること三更。日入に風微かなり。単未を用いること一更。南杞を見る。離れること一更許り。

二十七日甲子。日の出に晴れる。盤山を見る。温州に至る。東北順風。坤申庚を用いること四更。水を縋ると十四托。北関を離れること一更許り。日入に坤申庚を用いること一更。台山に至り錨を下ろす。夜十八漏にまた錨を起こす。明に至って南北関を見る。二号船は先だって一日南関を過ぐ。

二十八日乙丑。東北風に力なし。船は七星山に泊す。水を縋ると九托。夜五漏に至る。颶風が起こって錨が流される。乙辰針を用いて行くこと七漏。副錨を加えて船を泊める。

二十九日丙寅。日の出に霜山に至る。東北風で申庚酉針を用いる。日晡に二号船と共に定海所に至る。琉球謝恩の船は先だって一日にして到る。相次いで泊す。

Both mountains belong to Taizhou. The course for the imperial ship returning to Fujian should originally take Wenzhou's Nanqi Mountain. These two mountains are also located five hundred li north of Nanqi. The ship's hull drifted too far north, departing from Nanqi by about eight watches distance. At the Bu hour, shifted to north wind. Used Ding-Wei needle for three watches. At sunset, the ship reached Phoenix Tail Mountain. The wind stopped and we dropped anchor.

25th day, Ren-Xu. No wind. The ship anchored at Phoenix Tail Mountain. It rained at night. Several small boats came to observe us. We remained alert until dawn.

26th day, Gui-Hai. At sunrise, northeast wind. Raised anchor and departed. Heavy thunderstorm. A whirlwind rolled the sails. At the Bu hour, shifted to Ren-Hai wind. Used single Wei and Kun-Wei for three watches. At sunset, the wind was light. Used single Wei for one watch. Saw Nanqi, about one watch away.

27th day, Jia-Zi. At sunrise, clear weather. Saw Pan Mountain. Reached Wenzhou. Northeast favorable wind. Used Kun-Shen-Geng for four watches. Sounding the water yielded fourteen fathoms. About one watch away from North Pass. At sunset, used Kun-Shen-Geng for one watch. Reached Tai Mountain and dropped anchor. At night, at the eighteenth watch, raised anchor again. At dawn, saw the North and South Passes. The second ship had passed through South Pass one day earlier.

28th day, Yi-Chou. Northeast wind was weak. The ship anchored at Seven Star Mountain. Sounding the water yielded nine fathoms. At night, at the fifth watch, a hurricane arose and the anchor dragged. Sailed using Yi-Chen needle for seven watches. Added a second anchor to secure the ship.

29th day, Bing-Yin. At sunrise, reached Frost Mountain. With northeast wind, used Shen-Geng-You needle. At the Bu hour, together with the second ship, reached Dinghai. The Ryukyu gratitude mission ship had arrived one day earlier. We anchored one after another.
