シルベシ其症ニハ小／続命（ゾクメイ）湯大青龍湯ヲ用／温覆（ウンフ）
シテ汗ヲ取ベシ麻発シ諸症穏也

現代語訳

よきを管にて一口吸わせ、その後の空を管を取りて空を飲ませさえすれば、いかような吐逆症でも百発百中に薬は納まるのである。

咽喉が痛み咳嗽するには甘桔梗湯、嘔気があるには竹石湯。

竹葉石膏湯
　竹葉　石膏　半夏　甘草　粳米
　人参　麦門冬
　右を水煎服

咽喉が大いに腫れて痛むには玄桔湯。

玄桔湯　丹台玉案
　玄胡索　桔梗　牛蒡子　石膏
　甘草　淡竹二十片を入れ水煎服

麻疹の発熱時に外から風寒に襲われ、発表しがたく、肩背が強ばり、悪寒し、頭痛、発熱が強く、咳嗽し微喘し、一身が疼痛し、麻疹が出られないゆえに、瘟疫傷寒と見間違う症がある。眼中が赤く灼熱し、脈が弦数、咽がいらつくことで麻疹と知るべし。その症には小続命湯、大青龍湯を用い、温覆して汗を取るべし。麻疹が発し、諸症は穏やかになる。

If you have them sip the appropriate amount through a tube and then have them swallow air by removing the tube and making them drink the emptiness, no matter what kind of vomiting and hiccupping symptoms they have, the medicine will settle with complete success.

For throat pain and coughing, use Sweet Platycodon Decoction; for nausea, use Bamboo and Stone Decoction.

Bamboo Leaf and Gypsum Decoction:
　Bamboo leaves, Gypsum, Pinellia, Licorice, Rice
　Ginseng, Ophiopogon
　Decoct the above with water and take

For severe throat swelling and pain, use Corydalis and Platycodon Decoction.

Corydalis and Platycodon Decoction (from Dantai Jade Manual):
　Corydalis, Platycodon, Burdock seed, Gypsum
　Licorice, add twenty pieces of light bamboo, decoct with water and take

When measles with fever is attacked by external wind-cold, making it difficult to promote sweating, with stiff shoulders and back, chills, headache, strong fever, coughing with mild wheezing, and pain throughout the body, because the measles cannot emerge, there are symptoms that can be mistaken for epidemic typhoid fever. You should recognize it as measles when the eyes are red and burning hot, the pulse is wiry and rapid, and the throat is irritated. For such symptoms, use Minor Renewal of Life Decoction or Major Blue Dragon Decoction, apply warm covering to induce sweating. The measles will emerge and all symptoms will become calm.
