これを出版するにあたり、私に一言を求めてきた。私は医学のことは全く知らないので、どうして口を挟むことができようか。ただ、家学（家に伝わる学問）を利することについて、私自身の益となることは必ずこの通りである。それならば、彼の家学の存在するところ、それがどうして人に大いなる益をもたらさないことがあろうか。私が認めるところは、これだけのことである。

They came to me seeking a word [of endorsement] for this publication. I know nothing whatsoever about medical matters, so how could I dare to comment? However, regarding the benefit of family learning [hereditary scholarship], what benefits me personally will surely follow this principle. If so, then where his family learning exists, how could it not bring great benefit to people? What I can attest to is this alone.
