公儀当家留守居御呼出被 仰渡候御書付之写
日向守殿御領分勢州河曲郡南若松村幸太夫磯吉儀外国へ
致漂流候処年月之艱難を凌き無恙致帰国事奇特成志に付
金三拾両宛被下此度は以別儀在所へも御返し不被成御当地に被差
置候住所之儀は番町明地薬草植場之内為致住居月々に
為御手当幸太夫へ金三両宛磯吉へ同弐両つゝ被下両人共勝手
次第妻をも呼迎安堵為致先つ無役にて差置候御勘定奉行
差配致候様尤右之趣可申達旨戸田采女正殿被 仰渡候に付
此段申達候

幕府から当家の留守居役が呼び出されて申し渡された御書付の写し
日向守殿の領分である伊勢国河曲郡南若松村の幸太夫と磯吉は、外国へ漂流したが、年月の艱難を凌いで無事に帰国したことは奇特な志であるので、金三十両ずつを下賜する。この度は特別な配慮により在所へも帰さず、江戸の当地に置くことにする。住所については番町の空き地にある薬草植場の内に住居させ、月々の手当として幸太夫へ金三両ずつ、磯吉へ同じく二両ずつを下賜する。両人とも勝手次第で妻をも呼び寄せて安心して暮らすよう、まずは無役のまま置く。勘定奉行が差配するように。もっともこの趣旨を申し伝えるよう戸田采女正殿が申し渡したので、この段申し伝える。
寅年六月
右の珍しいことなので申し上げます。両用で取り込んでいるため、銘々様へは申し上げることができません。お許しください。

包みの中に我が社友よりロシア人へ与えられた信牌の写しを得た。その終篇にロシア人へ与えられた品物の目録があるので、ここに記す。

Copy of the official document conveyed when the shogunate summoned our house's caretaker (rusuii)
Regarding Kōtayū and Isokichi from Minami-Wakamatsu Village, Kawawa District, Ise Province, in the domain of Lord Hyūga-no-kami: These men drifted to foreign countries but endured years of hardship and returned home safely, which demonstrates admirable resolve. Therefore, thirty ryō of gold each shall be granted to them. This time, by special arrangement, they will not be returned to their home village but will be kept here in Edo. As for their residence, they shall be housed within the medicinal herb garden in the vacant land of Banchō. As monthly stipends, Kōtayū shall receive three ryō of gold each month, and Isokichi shall receive two ryō each month. Both men may summon their wives at their discretion to live in peace. For now, they shall be kept without official duties. The Finance Magistrate (Kanjō-bugyō) shall oversee this arrangement. Lord Toda Uneme-no-shō conveyed that this matter should be communicated, so I hereby report this.

I report this unusual matter. Being occupied with various duties, I cannot report to each individual person. Please excuse me.

I obtained a copy of the travel pass (shinpai) given to the Russians by our colleagues from within a package. At the end of it was a list of items granted to the Russians, so I record it here.
Items granted to the Russians:

- Rice: 50 bales
- Soybeans: 20 bales
- Barley: same (20 bales)
- Wheat: same (20 bales)
- Salted venison: 10 barrels
- Confections: 10 boxes
