取出し香華をせるとの事也先住不沙汰といふべし
天桂山傑伝寺と号せる曹洞宗の禅院有り此寺は
酒井讃岐守忠勝朝臣の建立開山万照高国禅師今も
扶持米御寄附酒井侯よりあり大概能寺也境内小高き
地にて広〳〵とせし平地を見はらし眺望あらす尤
此地は古城跡にて太田氏の砦ありしとのこと也今もから堀と
覚しき跡爰かしこに残り古城地と見へ侍る所也

取り出して香華をしたということである。先住の不沙汰というべきである。

天桂山傑伝寺と号する曹洞宗の禅院がある。この寺は酒井讃岐守忠勝朝臣の建立で、開山は万照高国禅師である。今も扶持米の御寄附が酒井侯よりある。大概よい寺である。境内は小高い地にて、広々とした平地を見晴らし、眺望がある。もっともこの地は古城跡にて、太田氏の砦があったとのことである。今もから堀と覚しき跡があちらこちらに残り、古城地と見える所である。

[The tablets were] taken out and incense offerings were made. This should be called the negligence of the previous resident.

There is a Zen temple of the Sōtō sect called Tenkeizan Ketsudenji. This temple was established by Sakai Sanuki-no-kami Tadakatsu, and the founding priest was Zen Master Manshō Kōkoku. Even now, there is a rice stipend donation from Lord Sakai. It is generally a fine temple. The temple grounds are on slightly elevated land, overlooking broad flat terrain with a good view. This land is the site of an ancient castle where the Ōta clan had a fortress. Even now, traces of what appear to be dry moats remain here and there, showing this to be the site of an ancient castle.
