○雨ひさしくふりて晩（くれ）に虹（にし）を東方に見れは晴る
　徴（きさし）也又晴ひさしくして旱（ひてり）に虹を西方に見れは
　雨ふる也　
○虹下よりのほれは朝（あした）に雨とゝまる又朝西にの
　ほれは翌朝（あくるあさ）雨ふる也　

　　　　　為（ツクル）＿二虹￣ノ象￣ヲ＿一方
○試（こゝろみ）に虹のかたちをつくる事は晴天にて風なく
　をたやかなる日に水を口にふくみて夕日に向ひ
　霧（きり）のことくにふけは其水気の中にかならす赤く
　青き色の気見ゆる也

○二月の月 蝕（しよく）は粟（あは）の価（あたへ）賤（やす）く又人に災（わさはひ）ある也
○三月の月蝕は米の価 貴（たか）く人 飢（うへ）る也

○七月の月蝕は来年にいたりて牛馬の価貴也
○九月の月蝕は年荒て凶（けう）也
○十月の月蝕は秋にいたりて五 穀（こく）の価貴也
○十一月の日蝕は飢饉（ききん）して人 疫病（ゑきひやう）をわつらふ也

現代語訳

○雨が長く降り続けて、夕暮れに虹が東の方角に見えれば、晴れる兆しである。また、晴れが長く続いて日照りの時に、虹が西の方角に見えれば、雨が降る。

○虹が下から上へ立ち上れば、翌朝には雨が止む。また、朝に西の方角へ立ち上れば、翌朝に雨が降る。

○試みに虹の形を作るには、晴天で風がなく穏やかな日に、水を口に含んで夕日に向かい、霧のように吹き出せば、その水気の中に必ず赤や青い色の気が見える。

○二月の月食は、粟の値段が安くなり、また人に災いがある。
○三月の月食は、米の値段が高くなり、人が飢える。
○四月の月食は、穀物が不作となり、人が飢える。
○七月の月食は、翌年になると牛馬の値段が高くなる。
○九月の月食は、その年が荒れて凶作となる。
○十月の月食は、秋になると五穀の値段が高くなる。
○十一月の日食は、飢饉となり、人が疫病を患う。
