世（よ）に塵劫記（じんかうき）といふ書（しよ）は算術（さんじゆつ）の
初学（しよがく）専（もつはら）翫（もてあそび）て数学（すうがく）の奥儀（おうぎ）を
極（きわむ）るの一 端（たん）なりされども算（さん）
術（じゆつ）に達（たつ）したればとて長者（ちやうじや）にも
ならず九九を知らぬとて乞（こつ）
食（じき）にもならねば敢（あえ）て我（わが）身上（しんぜう）の
益（ゑき）になるといふにはあらじ此（この）
