前病の原因ではない：類編では、原作は「復」となっている。
芍薬湯：処方は戦汗の条に見える。
夯悶：劉松峯は「夯は上声で、大いに力を用いること」と述べている。
蜜煎導：下巻の応下諸証、大便閉の条に「血液枯竭する者がある場合、表裏の証がないのは虚燥であり、蜜煎導反謄導を用いるべし」とある。按ずるに類編では、この条に「或は謄導」の三字を補っている。
毎に黎明に至るか夜半後に便が泄瀉となる：劉松峯は「この瀉は全く瘟疫の事に関係なく、病後の腎瀉である。故に五更溏瀉の法を以ってこれを治す」と述べている。
大黄丸：外一巻四、温病労復方で、古今録験の大黄丸方を引用している。大黄・巴豆・消石・桂心・乾姜の右五味からなる。
六成湯：天一生水、地六成之の義である。
七成湯：天二生火、地七成之の義である。
六味丸の沢瀉を少し減らす：利水し過ぎるため、沢瀉を減らす。劉松峯は「六成湯は潤燥の剤であり、明白で解しやすい。六味丸の沢瀉を少し減らすというに至っては、尽く減去する方が良い。茯苓も用いるべきではない。この二薬は大いに小便を利し、小便がより利すれば、大便がより結する。知らないではいけない」と述べている。
附子を倍加する：命門の火を助けるため、倍にする。

Every dawn or after midnight, bowel movements become diarrhea: Liu Songfeng said, "This diarrhea has absolutely nothing to do with warm epidemic disease; it is kidney diarrhea after illness. Therefore, it is treated with the method for fifth watch loose stools."
Rhubarb Pills: In external volume one, section four, "warm disease overexertion relapse formulas," citing the rhubarb pill formula from the Record of Ancient and Modern Verified Cases. It consists of five ingredients: rhubarb, croton seed, saltpeter, cassia heart, and dried ginger.
Six Completion Decoction: This represents the principle of "Heaven one generates water, Earth six completes it."
Seven Completion Decoction: This represents the principle of "Heaven two generates fire, Earth seven completes it."
Six-ingredient Pill with reduced Alisma: Because it promotes water metabolism excessively, Alisma is reduced. Liu Songfeng said, "Six Completion Decoction is a formula for moistening dryness, which is clear and easy to understand. As for using Six-ingredient Pill with slightly reduced Alisma, it would be better to remove it entirely. Even Poria should not be used. These two medicines greatly promote urination; when urination is more promoted, bowel movements become more bound. This must be understood."
Double the amount of Aconite: Because it assists the fire of the life gate, it is doubled.
