現代語訳
舌上が全て黒くして苔がない一種《十三ウ》 葉天士が言うには、舌に苔がなくて
煙で燻したような煤がうっすらとある者は、慎んで軽視してはならない、もし口渇・煩熱して燥いている者は、
平素から胃燥があるものであり、攻めてはならず、甘寒で胃を益すべきである、もし渇かず四肢が寒く
して潤っている者は、陰病を挟むものであり、甘温で中を扶助すべきである、これは何故かと言うと、外には現れているが
裏には無いからである。
舌裂《十四オ》 劉松峯が言うには、凡そ舌裂は総じて治癒困難であり、病が愈えても終に
痕跡が無くなることはできない。

ことを謂うのであり、嘆息の声、長いため息のことである、気が舒暢しないために、毎回一度ため息をついて
始めて寛松を覚える、ここで呼吸が不利で気を下行に引くと解しているが、尚お甚だしく真実とは
言い切れない。
