火災予防及び天災時の心得
火気は最大の注意を払い、失火の絶無を期さなければならない。故に日常心得るべき要件を定めること左の如し
1、裸火の使用は最も危険であるため、これを厳禁する
2、提灯は危険が多いため、人なき室に放置するようなことは厳に戒めるべし
3、火鉢は本院備付のもの以外を使用しないこと
4、火鉢に過大の火を盛らないこと
5、火鉢を壁に接近させ、又は火鉢の近辺に燃えやすいもの（例えば紙屑籠、雑布等）を置かないこと
6、火鉢は午後8時までに火の気を去り、蓋を覆うこと
7、病症の都合により徹夜火鉢を使用せんとするときは当直看護婦に申し出て置き、一層火気に注意すること
8、火鉢に火を置き一時立ち去る時は必ず蓋を覆い置くこと
9、焜炉等は所定の場所以外において使用しないこと

Guidelines for Fire Prevention and Natural Disasters

2. Lanterns are very dangerous, so leaving them in unoccupied rooms should be strictly avoided
