瓦（かはら）ぶきの家又は土蔵（どざう）の戸前（とまへ）などは心をつけて
機（き）をゆるすな火の用心をよくせよかやうの時は

したがはゝあやまちはあるまじきぞよくまもらん

瓦葺きの家や土蔵の戸口などは注意して、気を緩めるな。火の用心をよくせよ。このような時は慌てて火事を起こすものである。私（神）の教えに従えば過ちはないであろう。よく守ろうとは思うが、多くの氏子であるから見落とすこともあるだろう。見忘れることも多いだろう」と神託があった。静かに皆が心を澄まし、耳を傾けて承っているところに、また激しくどうどうと揺れ出したのである。巫女殿は顔色を失って社の上に駆け上がり、神は昇天なさった。
「まことに確かな神託であるなあ」と言って、氏子たちは

手を合わせて拝み奉るのも、たいそう尊いことである。
また、このようなことは神託を待つまでもない。どのような者も心得ていることである。それほど珍しくない神託であるなあ」とつぶやいて笑う人もいた。その他、京都や田舎で地震の振った所では、急にそこここの神前を清め、祈りをかけて神託をいただき申し上げることが様々である。
三 夫婦が争って道心を失った事
