"will surely become one with the lotus and join you there. Having withdrawn from the palace, why should you forget me? The sin of this sorrowful body - from now on I shall wring tears from my moss-stained sleeves, and shall never forget until the end of time. Not even the dew shall be neglected, and my younger brother too grieves for you without limit. Summon him and think of him as my keepsake. Again and again, this parting is beyond words." When he said this, the gentleman-in-waiting heard it and could do nothing but weep helplessly. The gentleman-in-waiting tried to stop his tears and said: "Just when I thought I could draw close to you, to think that we must now part..."
