後編第四巻　雑記の部
　大地震からこの度の洪水に至るまで、なお伝え聞く
　ところの災変や先例などを次々に書き加えて
　紙数を増やす
後編第五巻には
　自分は不肖な者であるとはいえ、この時に当たって役職に
　就いているので、公務に関わるところの書類、
　御訴状や御届書等の事柄、または寄進に関する事柄
　などを記して子孫に残す
後編第六巻には

【左丁】
　善光寺御山内の故事、市中の旧例、
　御堂御普請の詳細、近隣で代々
　記録された先例を集めて写す
後編第七巻には
　信濃国の絵図をもって町々在郷山里村の
　名前・分郷・石高・家数・人別等を記す。これは大変
　広大で、私の愚かな知識の及ぶところではないと
　いえども、少しくその種となるものを求めてあるので、集めて
　完成させ、子孫等に譲りたい
　と思う

　Although this is extremely
　vast in scope and beyond what my foolish knowledge can encompass,
　since I have sought some foundation materials, I wish to gather them,
　bring the work to completion, and pass it on
　to future generations
