　二王尊寄附の砌妻戸の内甚玅坊へ是を添て送らるゝ此
　書簡表装して什物とす是皆大火のために灰と成とかや

大黒毘沙門両天
　其作はしらされとも伽羅像にして爾も古物
　なり是一時の灰となる

閻魔王像
　法然堂町の閻魔堂にあり○【？】世に此像を祭り正十六日老
　若男女群集する事其類ひ鄙山里といへとも数多し
　今此王像の妙作なる事は其類にあらす是則小野の篁
　の作なりといひ傳ふ是亦可恪灰となりぬ

法然上人の像
　同所正信坊に有り上人自作にして爰に残さる
　依て此町を法然堂町といふ

笹の葉の名号
　此一軸は中衆の一老堂照坊にあり親鸞上人此坊に
　逗留して百日々参の満願に笹の葉の形に六字の
　名号染筆し給ひて爰に残さる所の寶物也

釋迦如来
　衆徒之内釈迦堂の本尊世尊院にあり　越後國の
　濱邊今町の西にあたる所の海中出現の佛
　尊しかも紫金【「しきん」＝赤銅(しゃくどう)の異称。金を三～六パーセント含む銅合金。これに銀を一パーセント程度加えたものにもいう。わが国で古くから工芸品、銅像などに用いられた。】なり因縁によりていまもなを

【右丁】
　二王尊寄進の際、妻戸の内の甚妙坊へこれを添えて送られた。この
　書簡を表装して什物とした。これらは皆大火のために灰となったということだ。

大黒毘沙門両天
　その作者は知られていないが、伽羅像であって、しかも古物
　である。これも一時に灰となった。

閻魔王像
　法然堂町の閻魔堂にある。世にこの像を祭り、正月十六日に老
　若男女が群集することは、その類は僻地山里といえども数多い。
　今、この王像の妙作であることは、その類ではない。これはすなわち小野篁
　の作であると言い伝えられている。これもまた慎むべきことに灰となった。

法然上人の像
　同所正信坊にあり、上人自作であってここに残されている。
　よってこの町を法然堂町という。

笹の葉の名号
　この一軸は中衆の一老堂照坊にあり、親鸞上人がこの坊に

　When the Niō Guardians were donated, this was sent along to Jinmyōbō inside the wife's door. This
　letter was mounted and made into a temple treasure. All of these became ash due to the great fire.

Daikoku and Bishamonten (Two Heavenly Kings)
　The maker is unknown, but they were aloe wood statues, and moreover ancient objects.
　These also became ash in an instant.

Enma-ō (King of Hell) Statue
　Located in the Enma Hall of Hōnendō-machi. People worship this statue, and on the 16th of the first month, old
　and young men and women gather in crowds - such gatherings are numerous even in remote mountain villages.
　Now, this king statue being a masterpiece is unlike those others. This is said to be
　a work of Ono no Takamura according to tradition. This too, regrettably, became ash.

Statue of Hōnen Shōnin
　Located at Shōshinbō in the same place, it was carved by the master himself and remains here.
　Therefore this town is called Hōnendō-machi.

Nembutsu on Bamboo Leaves
　This hanging scroll is at Dōshōbō, one of the elder halls of the middle clergy. When Shinran Shōnin
　stayed at this temple and completed his hundred-day pilgrimage vow, he brushed the six-character
　nembutsu in the shape of bamboo leaves, and this treasure remains here.

Shakyamuni Buddha
　Among the clergy, the principal image of Shakadō is at Sesōn-in. This Buddha
　appeared from the sea west of Imamachi on the coast of Echigo Province,
