"Heaven" would answer "River" in response, and you would likewise come to avenge the grudge. This Gihei's "gi" (義) represents the righteousness of a loyal retainer, and "hei" (平) means to easily avenge one's enemy. All three characters were deemed highly auspicious omens, and they took their leave and departed.
Yuranosuke immediately employed military tactics, slaying the villains and avenging their lord, spreading their fame to future generations, and becoming known as the Treasury of Loyal Retainers (Chūshingura). The story tells us that the soft can overcome the hard, and the weak can overcome the strong - this was the excellent technique that Huang Shigong transmitted to Zifang (Zhang Liang).
