一平次按に旧藩中島津伊達毛利上杉の四家往昔
領＿二封国数州を＿一 天下之雄藩也雖＿レ然豊臣家之時
被＿レ削＿二領国＿一就＿レ 中上杉家追々被＿レ减＿二封土を＿一為＿二小身と＿一也
天正以来代々増＿二封土を＿一無は＿二减土＿一吾旧藩耳蓋国
初以来加賀能登越中三箇国十二郡幷近江
国高島郡今津領等惣計幕府朱印地高
富山大聖寺両庶家領十七万石指除金沢宗
家の封国税額高百貳万五千二十石二戸斗八升
二合也或曰旧幕中江戸出版武鑑前田家之
領知高百二万二千七百石代々領すと＿レ之載たく焉此高は
者加賀能登越中三国に而除る＿二江州今津領二千
三百余石を＿一故也と云自＿二慶長五年＿一至り＿二干明治維新之
際＿一凡歴数二百七十許年為＿二 天下第一之雄藩＿一而
安泰平穏保＿二社禝＿一既に十四世是全藩祖亜相
高徳公積善累仁之余慶ならん乎
現代語訳
三百年となり、日本国の諸侯の中で最も第一の地位にあるのは、国祖の
多くの善行の余慶が現れたものである。そこで藩士某が景
周となって、その益封の順序について問うた。ここで密かにこれを改めるに、国初の金革
騒擾の中、武臣は筆墨を事としなかったため、往時の記録は一つを掛けて百を漏らし、
その詳細を得ることができなかった。しかし今、景周は幸いにも旨を奉じて
越中・能登・加賀三州の志類列志中で目に触れたものを書き殺して
これを授けた。文化九年仲秋二十八日 富田景周識
一、平次が按ずるに、旧藩中で島津・伊達・毛利・上杉の四家は往昔
数州の封国を領し、天下の雄藩であった。しかしながら豊臣家の時代に
領国を削られ、中でも上杉家は次々と封土を減らされて小身となった。
天正以来代々封土を増やし減土がないのは我が旧藩のみである。蓋し国
初以来、加賀・能登・越中三ヶ国十二郡並びに近江
国高島郡今津領等の総計は幕府朱印地高で、
富山・大聖寺両庶家領十七万石を除いて、金沢宗
家の封国税額高は百二万五千二十石二斗八升
二合である。或いは言うには、旧幕中の江戸出版武鑑では前田家の
領知高を百二万二千七百石と代々領すると載せているが、この高は
加賀・能登・越中三国であって、江州今津領二千
三百余石を除いているからであるという。慶長五年から明治維新の
際まで、およそ二百七十余年を歴て、天下第一の雄藩として
安泰平穏に社稷を保ち、既に十四世となった。これは全て藩祖亜相
高徳公の積善累仁の余慶であろうか。

three hundred years, holding the highest position among all daimyo in Japan, which is
the manifestation of the accumulated virtuous deeds of our founding ancestor.
Therefore, a certain retainer, acting as Keishū, inquired about the sequence of beneficial grants.
Upon secretly examining this, during the initial military upheavals and disturbances of the founding period,
the military officials did not engage in scholarly pursuits, so historical records missed a hundred details for every one recorded,
making it impossible to obtain the particulars. However, now Keishū has fortunately received orders to compile
what caught the eye from the various records of Etchū, Noto, and Kaga provinces and
presented this work. Twenty-eighth day of mid-autumn, Bunka 9. Recorded by Tomita Keishū
One: According to Heiji's analysis, among the former domains, the four houses of Shimazu, Date, Mōri, and Uesugi
formerly ruled fiefs of several provinces and were the great domains of the realm. However, during the Toyotomi period,
their territories were reduced, and particularly the Uesugi house had their fief progressively diminished, becoming a minor house.
Since Tenshō, only our former domain has continuously increased its fief without any reduction of territory. Indeed, since the
founding, the three provinces of Kaga, Noto, and Etchū with twelve districts, plus
Imazu territory in Takashima District of Ōmi Province, totaling the bakufu vermillion seal land assessment,
excluding the 170,000 koku of the two cadet branches of Toyama and Daishōji, the main
Kanazawa house's fief tax assessment amounts to 1,025,020 koku 2 to 8 shō
2 gō. Some say that in the old bakufu's Edo-published Bukan, the Maeda house's
territorial holdings are recorded as 1,022,700 koku held for generations, but this amount
represents the three provinces of Kaga, Noto, and Etchū, excluding the over 2,300
koku of Imazu territory in Gōshū. From Keichō 5 until the Meiji Restoration,
spanning approximately 270 years, as the greatest domain in the realm,
we have maintained peace and tranquility, preserving the ancestral altars for fourteen generations.
This is entirely due to the accumulated virtuous deeds and benevolence of our domain founder, the Vice-Minister of high virtue.
