現代語訳
申し上げたところ、年来長い間よく務めている旨仰せ出され、役職を免じて下さった。
ただし引き継ぎを急いで済ませたいと度々申し上げたところ、後任が任命されたものの、廻国衆が押し付けで当地へお出でになったが、新参者を派遣する場所ではないので引き続き務めるよう仰せ付けられ、四月に廻国使として軽井沢銀山並びに高田村山宿の際の御用を務め、五月中に御蔵方をはじめ諸帳簿を引き継ぎ、御城の御番を務めた。
一、同年八月、小川庄の御代官が病気のため仮役を仰せ付けられ、本役が出勤するまで務めた。
一、同三年（享保三年、1718年）四月、金山奉行を仰せ付けられた。
一、同九年（享保九年、1724年）六月、願いの通り役職を免じられ、外様組付を仰せ付けられ、一瀬伝兵衛組に入り御城の御番を務めた。
一、同十四年（享保十四年、1729年）三月、隠居の願いを申し上げたが、お許しにならないので先ず務めるようにと仰せ出された。
一、同十五年（享保十五年、1730年）二月、願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられた。

When he petitioned, he was told that he had served well for many years and was granted relief from his duties.
However, when he repeatedly requested to complete the handover quickly, although a successor was appointed, traveling inspectors had been imposed upon the local area, but since it was not a place to send newcomers, he was ordered to continue serving. In the 4th month, he served as a traveling envoy for official duties at Karuizawa silver mine and Takada village mountain lodging, and in the 5th month he handed over the treasury records and various account books and served guard duty at the castle.
