1. 1st year of Tenmei, year of the Ox (1781), eighth month: Due to eye disease,
he petitioned to be excused from current duties,
whereupon he was ordered to recuperate while continuing his duties

he was granted one lined noshime formal robe
1. Same 3rd year of the Rabbit (1783), twelfth month:
He was appointed to document duties for Lord Senmyōin and worked diligently
throughout the year, for which His Lordship granted him two bundles of cotton
Note: Such grants were made annually thereafter
1. Same 4th year of the Dragon (1784), seventh month: The rotating duty system
was discontinued and he was to serve alone in document copying, for which
he was granted three ryō of gold annually,
as announced
