終南山
　　　　王維

太乙は天都に近く、連なる山々は海の隅まで到る。白雲は振り返って望めば合し、青い靄は見入れば無し。分野は中峰にて変わり、陰晴は衆壑にて殊なり。人の住む処に宿を求めんと欲すれど、水を隔てて樵夫に問う。

Taiyi is near the heavenly capital, the connected mountains reach to the corners of the sea. White clouds converge when I turn back to look, blue mist disappears when I gaze intently. The territorial divisions change at the central peak, shadow and sunshine differ in the many valleys. Wishing to find lodging where people dwell, I call across the water to ask a woodcutter.
