邢氏（けいし）が桂州（けいしう）に行（ゆく）其出立（そのでたち）に従者（じうしや）の人々（ひと〴〵）鐃笛（どらふえ）にて京口（みやこぐち）から船（ふね）に乗出（のりだ）す喧（かまびす）しく賑（にぎ）やかな風波（ふうは）も静（しづか）
にして洞庭（とうてい）の城下（じやうか）を乗下（のりおろ）す舟中（しうちう）からみればむかし呉孫権（ごのそんけん）が屯（たむろ）した所（ところ）の赭圻（しやき）又／赤岸山（せきがんざん）でござる

邢桂州を送る

鐃吹京口に喧し、風波洞庭に下る。赭圻は赤岸に将たり、撃汰復た舲を揚ぐ。
日落ちて江湖白く、潮来たって天地青し。明珠合浦に帰る、応に使臣の星を逐うべし。

邢氏が桂州に赴任する際、その出発に従者の人々が鉦や笛で京口から船に乗り出し、賑やかに音を立てる。風波も静かで洞庭湖の城下へと船を進める。船中から見れば、昔呉の孫権が陣を敷いた赭圻、また赤岸山であると話しながら山下を通り、波に櫂を打ち、拍子を取り、また船の窓を開けて景色を眺める。赭圻のあたりで日も落ちたので、江湖の水も白く見渡され、赤岸山の下を通る時は潮が満ちて来て天地も一続きになって真っ青である。邢氏が赴任して治政が良いので、他国へ移った明珠も民の生業となるように合浦に帰るであろう。桂州は古の合浦であるから、使臣となる邢氏に星が守護して付いて行き、その跡を彼の明珠が負けず劣らず追いかけて移るであろう。珠と星とを釣り合わせて句作りをしたものである。合浦の司が良いと珠が寄ると言うのは故事である。

Seeing off Xing Guizhou

The clanging music is noisy at Jingkou, wind and waves descend to Dongting. Zheqi faces the red cliffs, striking the waves and again raising the boat's awning.
The sun sets and the rivers and lakes turn white, the tide comes and heaven and earth turn blue. The bright pearls return to Hepu, they should follow the star of the imperial envoy.

When Master Xing departs for his post in Guizhou, his retainers board the ship from Jingkou with gongs and flutes, making a lively racket. The wind and waves are calm as they sail down toward the castle town of Dongting Lake. From aboard the ship, they point out Zheqi where Sun Quan of Wu once encamped, and Red Cliff Mountain, talking as they pass below the mountain, striking the waves with oars, keeping rhythm, and opening the boat's windows to view the scenery. Around Zheqi the sun sets, so the waters of rivers and lakes appear white across the vista. When passing below Red Cliff Mountain, the tide rises and heaven and earth become one continuous expanse of deep blue. When Master Xing arrives and governs well, the bright pearls that moved to other lands will return to Hepu to become the people's livelihood. Since Guizhou is the ancient Hepu, the stars will provide protection and follow the imperial envoy Xing, and those bright pearls will not be outdone but will chase after his footsteps and return as well. This is a poem composed by balancing pearls and stars. The historical precedent is that when Hepu has a good magistrate, the pearls return.
