葉の形は大きく、桃の葉のようで、濃い緑色をしており、周囲に細かい鋸歯（きょし）がある。春に葉の間から長い茎を伸ばして花を開く。花の形は前条（衛矛）に似ている。実は丸く、大きさは三～四分ほどで、熟すと裂けて中の実が現れる。その形もまた前条と同じである。枝に羽（コルク質の翼）の形があるとはいえ、数が少なく小さい。呉晋の説に「葉桃の如し（葉は桃の葉のようだ）」と述べているものと同じ植物である。

The leaves are large and resemble those of a peach tree, deep green in color, with fine serrations (teeth) around their edges. In spring, long stems grow from among the leaves and bear flowers. The shape of the flowers resembles that of the previous entry (Euonymus alatus). The fruits are round, approximately three to four bu in size, and when they ripen, they split open to reveal the seeds inside. This form is also the same as the previous entry. Although the branches do have wing-like corky ridges, they are fewer in number and smaller in size. This plant corresponds to the one described in the writings of Wu Jin (呉晋) as having "leaves like those of the peach tree."
