葉の形 円（まる）くして山茶（つはき）の葉（は）に似て薄（うす）く小し
花は前条と同し実も又前条に似（に）たり枝

【左丁】
葉の形は丸く、椿の葉に似ているが、薄くて小さい。花は前条（やまにしきき）と同じで、実もまた前条に似ている。枝も幹も共に羽（コルク質の翼）はない。この植物は、蘇頌の説に「葉は野茶（やちゃ）に似たり」と述べているものである。

【Left folio】
The leaves are rounded in shape, resembling those of the camellia, but thinner and smaller. The flowers are the same as those of the previous entry (Yamanishikigi), and the fruits also resemble those of the previous entry. Neither the branches nor the trunk bear any wing-like corky ridges. This plant corresponds to the one described by Su Song (蘇頌) as having "leaves resembling those of wild tea (野茶)."
