葉の形はうつぎに似ており、ざらつきがなく（表面が滑らか）、梢に穂をなして白色五弁の花を開く。大きさは三、四分ほどである。

The height of the tree is the same as the preceding entry. The shape of the flowers and leaves is likewise the same as the preceding entry, but the color is white.

The shape of the leaves resembles that of *utsugi*, but without roughness (i.e., the surface is smooth). It forms spikes at the tips of its branches and bears white, five-petaled flowers. They measure approximately three to four *bu* in size (roughly nine to twelve millimeters).
