【右丁】
一種
樹木も葉もともに前条（前に述べた種）に似ており、春に葉の付け根から蕾を生じる。花が開くときは、その形状もまた前条と同じであるが、白色である。その後、実を結ぶこともあるが、稀である。実を結ぶときは、その形状はにはむめ（庭梅）の実と同じである。

Both the tree and its leaves resemble those described in the preceding entry. In spring, buds emerge from the base of the leaves. When the flowers open, their form is likewise the same as in the preceding entry, but the color is white. Although the plant does occasionally bear fruit afterward, this is rare. When fruit is produced, its shape is the same as that of *niwaume* (庭梅, garden plum).
