年精出宜相勤候ニ付常詰小番ニ

現代語訳
一 天明元年丑年八月、左仲と名前を改めたい旨を
願い出て許可された事
一 同年九月、願い出の上で江戸表へ上った事
一 同二年寅年七月、小番御雇を仰せ付けられた
但しこの後、右の御雇を度々仰せ付けられた事
一 同四年辰年五月、数年間学問に精を出し、
特に思し召しの旨を仰せ出された事
一 同七年未年十二月、小番御雇の勤めを数年間
精を出してよく勤めたことにより、常詰小番に
召し出され、御役料二人扶持を下し置かれ、
都合五人扶持を成し下された事
一 同八年申年八月、
良徳院様の御懐守仮役を仰せ付けられた事
一 同年九月、佐藤丹蔵方の射芸
締り方兼務を仰せ付けられた事
一 同年十二月、上御屋敷学館の学監
兼務を仰せ付けられ、諸生の出入座席の
締り方、学問の優省勤怠に心を付け、
句読師不参の節は補うよう仰せ
付けられ、年々金一両ずつ下し置かれた事

change his name to Sanaka was granted

However, after this, he was repeatedly appointed to this same employment
One Same 4th year, year of the dragon, 5th month, having devoted himself to learning for several years,
his special dedication was particularly recognized by his lord
One Same 7th year, year of the sheep, 12th month, having served diligently as koban goyō for several years
and performing his duties well, he was promoted to jōzume koban (regular minor guard),
granted a stipend of two persons' rice allowance as official salary,
making a total of five persons' rice allowance
One Same 8th year, year of the monkey, 8th month,
appointed as temporary aide to Lord Ryōtoku-in
One Same year, 9th month, appointed concurrent supervisor
of archery arts under Satō Tanzō
One Same year, 12th month, appointed concurrent supervisor of the academy
at the upper residence, responsible for managing students' attendance and seating,
supervising academic excellence and diligence, and instructed to
substitute when reading instructors were absent,
granted one ryō of gold annually
