素君伝 明許鐘岳斎重氏著
右 陳良卿（ちんりやうけい）が集（あつむ）る所（ところ）の広諧史（くはうかいし）第八巻に載（の）す
と余（よ）が閲（けみ）する所の本（ほん）に此文 脱簡（だつかん）す広諧史
明板（みんはん）にて舶来（はくらい）の本もとより世（よ）に多（おほ）からず因（よつ）て
普（あまね）く蔵書家（ざうしよか）に請求（こひもと）め数本（すほん）を閲（けみ）するに悉（こと〳〵）く
脱簡にて素君伝を闕（か）く他日（たじつ）全本（ぜんほん）を得（ゑ）て
此文を補（おぎな）ふべきなり

現代語訳
『素君伝』 明の許鐘岳斎重氏著
右は陳良卿が集めた『広諧史』第八巻に載せられているとあるが、私が閲覧した本にはこの文章が欠落している。『広諧史』は明版で舶来の本であり、もとより世に多くはない。そこで広く蔵書家に請い求め、数本を閲覧したが、すべて欠落しており『素君伝』を欠いている。他日、完全な本を得てこの文章を補うべきである。

"Biography of Sokun" by Xu Zhongyue Zhaichong of the Ming Dynasty
The above is said to be included in the eighth volume of "Guang Xie Shi" (Expanded Humorous History) compiled by Chen Liangqing, but the books I have examined are missing this text. "Guang Xie Shi" is a Ming edition imported book, and naturally there are not many copies in the world. Therefore, I have widely requested from book collectors and examined several copies, but all are missing pages and lack the "Biography of Sokun." In the future, when I obtain a complete copy, I should supplement this text.
