現代語訳

この二山は皆台州に属する。封舟が閩に帰る針路は本来温州の南杞山を取るものであったが、この二山はまた南杞の北五百里にある。船身が太く北に開きすぎて航行し、南杞から八更ほど遠く離れてしまった。日晡に北風に転じ、丁未針を三更用いた。日入に舟は鳳尾山に至り風が止んだので錨を下ろした。

二十五日壬戌、無風で舟は鳳尾山に泊まった。夜は雨で、数隻の小船が来て警戒に当たり明け方まで続いた。

二十六日癸亥、日の出に東北風が起こり錨を上げて航行した。大雷雨があり旋風が起こって帆を回転させた。日晡に壬亥風に転じ、単未坤未を三更用いた。日入に風が微弱になり単未を一更用い、南杞が一更ほどの距離に見えた。

二十七日甲子、日の出は晴れで盤山が見え、温州に至った。東北順風で坤申庚を四更用い、縋水十四托で北関から一更ほど離れた。日入に坤申庚を一更用い、台山の下で錨を下ろした。夜十八漏にまた錨を上げ、明け方まで航行して南北関が見えた。二号船は一日先に南関を通過していた。

二十八日乙丑、東北風に力がなく船は七星山に泊まり、縋水九托であった。夜五漏まで続いた後、颶風が起こり錨が流されたため、乙辰針を用いて七漏航行し、副錨を加えて船を泊めた。

二十九日丙寅、日の出に霜山に至り、東北風で申庚酉針を用いた。日晡に二号船と並んで定海所に至った。琉球謝恩船は一日先に到着し、相次いで泊まった。

These two mountains both belong to Taizhou. The route for the investiture ship returning to Fujian was originally supposed to take Nanqi Mountain of Wenzhou, but these two mountains are located five hundred li north of Nanqi. The ship's hull was too wide and sailed too far north, ending up about eight watches away from Nanqi. At late afternoon turned to north wind, used Ding-Wei compass bearing for three watches. At sunset the ship reached Phoenix Tail Mountain where the wind stopped, so anchored.

25th day, Ren-Xu, no wind, the ship anchored at Phoenix Tail Mountain. Rain at night, several small boats came to stand guard until dawn.

26th day, Gui-Hai, at sunrise northeast wind arose, weighed anchor and sailed. Heavy thunderstorm with whirlwinds that turned the sails. At late afternoon turned to Ren-Hai wind, used single Wei and Kun-Wei for three watches. At sunset the wind became light, used single Wei for one watch, saw Nanqi at a distance of about one watch.

27th day, Jia-Zi, sunrise was clear and Pan Mountain was visible, reached Wenzhou. Northeast favorable wind, used Kun-Shen-Geng for four watches, sounded at fourteen fathoms, about one watch from North Pass. At sunset used Kun-Shen-Geng for one watch, anchored below Tai Mountain. At night during the eighteenth hour weighed anchor again, sailed until dawn when North and South Passes were visible. Ship No. 2 had passed South Pass one day earlier.

28th day, Yi-Chou, northeast wind was weak, ship anchored at Seven Stars Mountain, sounded at nine fathoms. During the night until the fifth hour a hurricane arose and the anchor dragged, so used Yi-Chen compass bearing and sailed for seven hours, then added a spare anchor to secure the ship.

29th day, Bing-Yin, at sunrise reached Frost Mountain, northeast wind, used Shen-Geng-You compass bearing. At late afternoon sailed alongside Ship No. 2 to reach Dinghai Station. The Ryukyu tributary mission ship had arrived one day earlier and moored in succession.
