そのようにすべきと存じる。これについては四職の者ども、
棟梁方へ出向き名寄帳面に記載すべきである。
役所へ指し出す帳面、右の分の名前は今後
除くこととする。
一、家職を辞めた者、または親類に家職を
始めたい者がいれば、棟梁方へ出向き改めるべきである。
職人が病気等を抱えている節も右同様である。
一、職に関わる不届きな儀もあれば、普請
方よりその他にもあるであろう。今後棟梁
方より吟味させる旨、またそのように
すべきと存じる。
一、右四職の者も最早仕事場に出向いている
者がいれば、手代ども方より棟梁方
まで、その決定を改め名前を帳面に記すべし

1. Regarding carpenters, sawyers, blacksmiths, and plasterers - these four trades:
From this spring, the construction office shall reform the master craftsmen system and
it is thought this should be done accordingly. Regarding this, those of the four trades
shall go to the master craftsmen and have their names entered in the registry ledger.
For ledgers submitted to the office, names in that section shall henceforth
be removed.
1. For those who have quit their family trade, or if there are relatives who wish to
begin a family trade, they shall go to the master craftsmen to be registered.
When craftsmen have illness or other problems, the same applies.
1. If there are improper matters related to trades, there will be others besides those from the construction
office. Henceforth, the master craftsmen
shall conduct examinations, and it is thought this
should be done accordingly.
1. Among those of the four trades, if there are already those going to work sites,
from the assistants to the master craftsmen,
that decision shall be reformed and names recorded in the ledger.
