　　　紫萬年青（むらさきをもと）
　　　紫金蘭（しきんらん）　大坂の方言

　　　　　　　　　　紫金蘭其葉似萬年青に表緑色
　　　　　　　　　　裏皆紫也花は似り蛤の貝を二つに分たるを其葉
　　　　　　　　　　冬を畏る此不似る萬年青に近來出は物
　　　　　　　　　　故本草に不謂

　　　紫萬年青（むらさきおもと）
　　　紫金蘭（しきんらん）　大坂の方言

　　　　　　　　　紫金蘭はその葉が萬年青に似ており、表面は緑色で
　　　　　　　　　裏はすべて紫色である。花は蛤の貝を二つに分けたような形に似ている。その葉は
　　　　　　　　　冬を嫌う。これは萬年青には似ていない。近頃出てきたものなので
　　　　　　　　　本草書には記載されていない。

According to "Sōmoku Ikushu" (Plant Cultivation):
　　　Murasaki-omoto (Purple Rohdea)
　　　Shikin-ran (Purple-gold orchid) - Osaka dialect

　　　　　　　　　The Shikin-ran has leaves that resemble those of omoto, with green surfaces
　　　　　　　　　and purple undersides throughout. The flowers resemble a clam shell split in two. The leaves
　　　　　　　　　dislike winter. This does not resemble omoto. Since it is something that has appeared recently,
　　　　　　　　　it is not mentioned in the pharmacological texts.
