**The *Bukō Sanbutsu-shi* (武江産物志, "Catalog of Products of Edo") states:**

**The *Nōzen* (農全) states:**
*Shi'un-sai* (紫雲菜, "Purple Cloud Vegetable")
(*Ruri-chōja-sō*, "Lapis Lazuli Clove Herb")
Upon reviewing the assessments of flower merchants and the general opinions of various people,
the matter is not clear. Upon my own careful consideration (*jukō*), I conclude that *Shi'un-sai* is
to be identified with *Tachinami-sō* (立浪草, *Scutellaria* sp.).
