忘憂草（カンゾウ）
諸々の異名は前巻に載せている
故にここでは省略する

千葉のものは前巻夏部一に写した。これは
単葉である。千葉は野生では稀である。単葉は
野生に多い。別に白青紅（スジカンゾウ）があり、下巻に載せる。
また唐萱草があり、花が大きくて黄
色である。また紅色のものもある。
松岡恕庵先生が言う：
紅花草
すなわち萱草である
八重と単重の二種がある

The thousand-petaled variety was illustrated in the first part of the summer section of the previous volume. This is
a single-petaled variety. The thousand-petaled type is rare in the wild. The single-petaled type is
abundant in the wild. There is also a white-blue-red variety (striped day lily), which will be recorded in the lower volume.
There is also the Chinese day lily, with large yellow
flowers. There are also red-colored varieties.
Master Matsuoka Joan states:
Red flower grass
This is indeed the day lily
There are two types: double and single
