一宝暦七丑年正月 外様組付を仰せ付けられ、堀半右衛門組に入り、御城の御番を相勤めしたこと
一同年三月 孫太夫と改名したい旨を願い出て許可されたこと
一宝暦十二午年二月 組頭の堀半右衛門が御役を御免となり、跡の御役として上田八郎右衛門組に所属することになったこと
一宝暦十三未年四月 御供番を仰せ付けられ、十石一人扶持の御加増を下し置かれたこと
一同月 庄八と改名したい旨を願い出て許可されたこと
一同年八月 見祢山御社参の節、酢川野口坪下口の御順見にお供したこと
一宝暦十四申年四月 御供勤番として江戸表へ参上した
但し御道中のお供を精を出して相勤めた段について、御称美を成し下されたこと
英語訳
In the 1st month of Hōreki 7 (1757): He was appointed to the outer group (sotoyama-gumi) and joined Hori Hanemon's unit, serving castle guard duty.
In the 3rd month of the same year: His request to change his name to Magotayū was granted.
In the 2nd month of Hōreki 12 (1762): Group leader Hori Hanemon was relieved of his duties, and as his successor, he was assigned to Ueda Hachirōemon's unit.
In the 4th month of Hōreki 13 (1763): He was appointed to the lord's attendant guard (otomo-ban) and was granted an additional stipend of 10 koku and provisions for one person.
In the same month: His request to change his name to Shōhachi was granted.
In the 8th month of the same year: During the pilgrimage to Mine-yama Shrine, he accompanied the lord on an inspection tour of Sugawa, Noguchi, and Tsuboshitaguchi.
In the 4th month of Hōreki 14 (1764): He went to Edo as part of the attendant guard duty rotation.
Note: He was commended for his diligent service during the journey accompanying the lord.
