〇紀州／田辺（たなへべ）熊野等（くまのとう）大つなみ
にて海辺（うみべ）又は川口／抔（など）にかゝり
居候船へ打上あるひは磯（いそ）に
突当（つきあて）打くだけ又は流失（りうしつ）
する事其数を知らず
かくのことき水勢なれば
所により一村残らず
おし流し男女
死人おびたゝし
〇泉州堺つなみ
烈（はげ）しく橋八つ落（をち）る
湊（みなと）にかゝり居候船不残
破船に相成濱辺の人家
多く流れ死人多し

○紀伊国田辺、熊野等では大津波により
海辺または川口などにかかっていた
船が打ち上げられ、あるいは磯に
激突して打ち砕かれ、または流失
することその数を知れず
このような水の勢いであるので
所によっては一村残らず
押し流され、男女の
死人おびただしい
○和泉国堺では津波が
激しく橋八つが落ちる
港にかかっていた船は残らず
破船となり、浜辺の人家は
多く流され死人多し
