それから村では大変喜び、金合【きんごう】
村から金を集まって、あの荒れ寺を建立したので、老若男女がよく供養に参詣した。善僧が住持となられ、悟りの歌をもって衆生の迷いを済度してくださる。
♪影映る水氷にとざされて
今宵の月は空にこそ

From then on, the village rejoiced greatly, and collecting gold donations.
The village gathered money to rebuild that ruined temple, so old and young, men and women, frequently came to worship there. The virtuous monk became the head priest, using enlightened poetry to guide sentient beings out of delusion toward salvation.
