西山に傾きて入相耳をつらぬけはあると
あらゆる数萬の品〳〵或は蝋燭或はかん
てらに光りをうつし夜店の賑わい殊更
に覗からくり冨小屋のあかりは素より参詣の
群集の人〳〵ちやうちんてらし炎ふは
空にうつり輝き白畫といへとも清明なら
すんは却て是を欺へし行かふ諸人
耳目を驚し西に走り東に歩行南
北だにもさだかならさる其賑ひたとふるに
ものなし

旧例として三月九日申の上刻御本坊
表御門より出輿ありて
御本堂まて前立尊像の御寶龕
御印文の御宝龕錦帳あたりを
輝し行列美し鋪して御ねり
あり警固の僧衆諸役人左右前
後を打守り相図の鐘を打なら
せは一山の衆徒山内の際まていで
迎ひ供奉　尊敬して御本堂に
遷し奉る　花供物　備物をはしめ

現代語訳

【右丁】
西山に傾きて入相の鐘が耳を貫けば、あるとあらゆる数万の品々が、ある物は蝋燭、ある物は提灯に光を映し、夜店の賑わいは殊更である。覗きからくりや富くじ小屋の明かりは言うまでもなく、参詣の群衆の人々が提灯で照らし、炎が空に映って輝き、白昼と言えども清明ではないほどに、かえってこれを凌いでしまった。行き交う諸人は耳目を驚かし、西に走り東に歩き、南北すらも定かでないほどの賑わいは、たとえるものもない。

旧例として三月九日申の上刻に、御本坊の表御門より出輿があって、御本堂まで前立尊像の御宝龕、御印文の御宝龕の錦帳あたりを輝かし、行列を美しく敷いて御練りがある。警固の僧衆・諸役人が左右前後を守り、合図の鐘を打ち鳴らせば、一山の衆徒が山内の際まで出て迎え、供奉して尊敬し、御本堂に遷し奉る。花供物・備物をはじめ

When the sun tilts toward the western mountains and the evening bell pierces the ears, countless tens of thousands of items of every description—some illuminated by candles, others by lanterns—create an especially lively night market scene. Not to mention the lights from peep shows and lottery stalls, the crowds of worshippers illuminate with their lanterns, and the flames reflect and shine in the sky, making it brighter than clear daylight, indeed surpassing it. The people coming and going astound the eyes and ears, running west and walking east, with even north and south unclear in such bustling activity that has no equal.

According to ancient custom, on the ninth day of the third month at the first hour of the monkey (around 3-5 PM), there is a procession departing from the main gate of the head temple. A beautiful procession is arranged from there to the main hall, with the portable shrine of the standing Buddha image and the brocade curtains around the portable shrine of the sacred seal gleaming brightly in a ceremonial parade. Guard monks and various officials protect the front, back, left and right, and when the signal bell is struck, all the monks of the mountain come out to the edge of the temple grounds to welcome and escort it, respectfully transferring it to the main hall.
