處狭しと小屋掛並へあるとあらゆる品々持
出し賑ふ事限りなしといへとも爰に稀成
店錺り【かざり】ゆゑ評判もよく又繁昌し我
内の者も歓て此上仕入も間に合なは
御山内宿坊かた旅籠屋なとへも願を入れ
座敷に通りて旅人に進めなは是そもつ
たいなくも御當山　勅額の写にして
お國元への御土産なり是は御當山御開帳
につき遠國よりの御参詣御子孫方への御
土産なり手軽にして実に御参詣の印なり

と口演まても評義を極め笑ひに朝夕取紛れ
手足を痛く労しけり
爰に亦子孫にかたる予か常に閑居の一ト間
あり是をも造作お仕替て座鋪に補理【しつらえ(設え)】
ん事を思ひて地袋附の床の間と持佛安置の一ト間
を普請しおりしも弥生の廿四日は幸ひの
吉辰【きつしん＝良い日。吉日。】なれはとて襖張付け腰張も急きし
まゝに徐に此日を遷坐も間にあいて古佛
壇より移し上拝禮をそしたりけりまた新
座鋪の祝にとて床の間に題　寄松祝

場所が狭いほどに小屋掛けが並んでいて、あらゆる品々を持ち出して賑わうことは限りないといっても、ここに珍しい店飾りがあるため評判もよく、また繁盛して、我が家の者も喜んで、この上仕入れも間に合わないなら、御山内の宿坊方や旅籠屋などへも願いを入れ、座敷に通って旅人に勧めるなら、これこそもったいなくも御当山勅額の写しにして、お国元への御土産である。これは御当山御開帳につき、遠国よりの御参詣、御子孫方への御土産である。手軽にして実に御参詣の印である。

ここにまた子孫に語る。私が常に閑居している一間がある。これをも造作を仕替えて座敷に設えることを思って、地袋付きの床の間と持仏安置の一間を普請していたところ、弥生の二十四日は幸いの吉日であるからとて、襖張り付け腰張りも急いだままに、ようやくこの日を遷座も間に合って、古仏壇より移し、上拝礼をしたのであった。また新座敷の祝いにとて床の間に題「寄松祝」

With small stalls lined up so densely that space was at a premium, bringing out all kinds of goods, the bustling was limitless. However, here there were rare shop decorations, so the reputation was good and business flourished. Our household members were also delighted, and if supplies could not keep up with this, we would make requests to the mountain temple lodgings and inns, and if we could enter their guest rooms and recommend our goods to travelers, these would be none other than copies of our honorable temple's imperial plaque, souvenirs for their home provinces. These are souvenirs for distant pilgrims and their descendants who come for our temple's special exhibition. They are convenient and truly serve as tokens of pilgrimage.

Even extending to oral presentations, the reputation reached its peak, and amid laughter morning and evening, we worked our hands and feet painfully hard.
Here I also tell my descendants: I have a room where I usually live in quiet retirement. Thinking to renovate this as well and arrange it as a proper sitting room, I was constructing a room with an alcove fitted with floor storage and a room for enshrining the household Buddha. As the 24th day of the third month happened to be an auspicious day, I hurried to paste the sliding doors and wainscoting, and finally managed to complete the consecration ceremony on this day, moving the Buddha from the old altar and performing the ceremonial worship. Also, to celebrate the new sitting room, I placed in the alcove the inscription "Celebration of the Gathering Pine"
