太郎坊次郎坊は天狗たちを連れてきた。天狗の仲間の太鼓持ちにしようと思われたけれども、頑来は鼻が低いので、この鼻が間に合わなければ（一行不明）

（前略）の見せしめにしようとありがたい大敷衾に引き包み、愛宕山の頂上から谷底へ投げ給うと、みじんに砕けて死んでしまった。
【左頁中】
このことを天狗天徳寺は「愛宕の下東大」と歌ったが、隣の天徳寺が歌ったのは、天狗の敷衾に包まれ愛宕の谷底へ投げられたからである、ということだ。

Regarding this matter, the tengu Tentokuji sang "Atago no shita tōdai" (Under Atago, the great light), but the reason the neighboring Tentokuji sang this was because the tengu had been wrapped in the ceremonial cloth and thrown into the valley bottom of Atago.
