町七軒長屋借家人より出火折節富士南大風
にて北横町南側暫時ニ焼紅葉小路入口福生
鍋之助屋敷焼失より右屋敷続中田金兵衛宅
火徒片町へ火押出馬【一文字加筆「口」】口労町貯稗蔵脇ニ而留り
夫より御堀土手柴野へ火徒り下金町裏後藤
安兵衛長屋へ飛火いたし下金町え吹出下金
町両側南側亀屋善衛門宅にて留北側大 か
坂ニ而留り片々ハ八幡町入口迄両側押其内
八幡町所々え飛火八幡町南側不残石壇際ニ
而留る又飛火ニ而別当田所甍焼ける大風ニ

町七軒長屋借家人より出火、折節富士南大風
にて北横町南側瞬時に焼け、紅葉小路入口福生
鍋之助屋敷焼失より右屋敷続き中田金兵衛宅、
火移り片町へ火押し出し、馬口労町貯稗蔵脇にて留まり、
それより御堀土手柴野へ火移り、下金町裏後藤
安兵衛長屋へ飛び火致し、下金町へ吹き出し、下金
町両側南側亀屋善衛門宅にて留まり、北側大
坂にて留まり、片々は八幡町入口まで両側押し、その内
八幡町所々へ飛び火、八幡町南側残らず石壇際に
て留まる。また飛び火にて別当田所甍焼ける。大風に
て所々へ飛び火致し、いかようにも防ぎ兼ね候
よし。道具持ち出し候者もあまり風激しき故
残らず焼け候よし。終日大風、夜に入り候て雨降り、終
夜南風強し。
十九日 朝ばらばら雨、大風強し。雨すぐやみ、
風はますます強し。九つ過ぎまで吹き、夕方
まで大南風やみなしに吹く。暮れ六つ時

Today at half past the ninth hour of noon, a fire broke out from a tenant in the seven-house tenement in Kitayoko-cho at the residence compound of Gunji Taroji in Mukai-machi. Due to the strong south wind from Mount Fuji at that time, the south side of Kitayoko-cho burned in an instant. From the burned Fukuo Nabenosuke residence at the entrance of Momiji-koji, the fire spread to the adjacent Nakata Kinbei house, then the fire pushed out to Kata-machi, and was stopped near the grain storage warehouse in Baguchirou-machi. From there the fire spread to the moat embankment at Shibano, then jumped to Goto Yabei's tenement behind Shimogane-machi, blowing out into Shimogane-machi. On both sides of Shimogane-machi, it stopped at Kameya Zenbei's house on the south side and at the big slope on the north side. In some places it pushed to both sides up to the entrance of Hachiman-machi, with spot fires occurring throughout Hachiman-machi, with the entire south side of Hachiman-machi stopping at the stone platform area.
