其地両川口へ御台場御築立被仰候へハ右最
寄而已ニ而ハ土砂引立兼候哉と存候間天保度之
振合を以川々臨時大浚被仰出候右土砂を以
御台場御築立之積先達而相達置候得共其地
之事情仮令御救浚ニ被仰出候得共多分之所
役本之侭可相励 有之候間近来諸般御事多
之折柄諸国打続天災ニ而莫大之御用途差湊
不容易ニ御出高ニハ候得共御警衛向之儀可被
差置筋ニ無之候間此度皆御入用を以御台場
御普請并御備船等之儀別紙を以相達候通り

川口之水利不宜浚筋浅々相成り運漕不弁利

その地の両川口へ御台場御築立て仰せ付けられ候えば、右最寄りのみにては土砂引き立て兼ね候かと存じ候間、天保度の振り合いをもって川々臨時大浚え仰せ出され候。右土砂をもって御台場御築立ての積もり、先達て相達し置き候えども、その地の事情、仮令御救浚えに仰せ出され候えども多分の所役本のまま相励み有るべく候間、近来諸般御事多きの折柄、諸国打ち続き天災にて莫大の御用途差し湊り、容易ならざる御出高には候えども、御警衛向きの儀差し置かるべき筋には無く候間、この度皆御入用をもって御台場御普請並びに御備船等の儀、別紙をもって相達し候通り仰せ出され候事に候間、貴意を得らるべく候。

Regarding the construction of batteries at both river mouths in that location, if relying only on the immediate vicinity, it would be difficult to procure sufficient earth and sand. Therefore, following the precedent of the Tempo era, a special large-scale river dredging shall be ordered. The plan is to use this dredged earth and sand for battery construction, as previously communicated. However, considering the local circumstances, even if relief dredging is ordered, much of the work will likely need to be carried out with local resources as before.
In these recent times of numerous affairs, with natural disasters striking various provinces consecutively, enormous expenses have accumulated, making this a considerable financial burden. However, matters of coastal defense cannot be postponed. Regarding the new battery construction, when river relief dredging is subsequently ordered, care shall be taken to ensure it does not obstruct water traffic.
