小石川御屋敷御普請奉行鈴木藤兵衛殿宅にて家鴨を飼い置いた所、この節卵ができ子にかえした内に一羽異鳥ができた由。目横に二つ、その上へ立に二つ、羽根左右へ四つ、足四本付いているよし。
上公へ入御覧候所、異鳥は飼い申さぬものと上意があったよしにて、御下げになった由。

At the residence of Suzuki Tohyoe, construction magistrate of Koishikawa estate, where ducks were being raised, eggs were laid and hatched recently, and among them one strange bird appeared. It had two eyes positioned sideways, two more standing above them, four wings on the left and right sides, and four legs attached.
When shown to His Lordship, there was an imperial order that strange birds should not be raised, so it was removed.
