白河辺から水戸への入穀御免にならない内は、金十両に
四斗四升、入り二十八俵位であったところ、入穀御免に
なり、追々水戸より買い入れ参り候につき、二十五俵
になり、それより追々引き上げ、ともに二十四俵、二十二俵と
急騰、また二十俵より十七俵となり、十六俵より当時十五俵

grain dealers Yamazaki Kisuke and two others were investigated, the three shops
had hoarded about 100,000 [units], so suddenly [prices rose to] 6 to 4 sho, 5 sho.
From the Shirakawa area, while grain imports to Mito were not permitted, with 10 ryo
it was 4 to 4 sho, about 28 bales, but when grain imports were
permitted and gradually purchases came from Mito, it became 25 bales,
from then gradually rising, both 24 bales, 22 bales in rapid succession,
again from 20 bales to 17 bales, from 16 bales currently 15 bales
