よし明八朔無事ニ仕度奉存候以上
豆州下田表ニ在留之亜墨利加官吏事彼国大
統領国ゟ之書翰持参致江戸へ罷出可指出旨
大統領国ゟ被申付候ニ付江戸出府之儀強而
申立候間追々下田奉行ゟ及応【見せ消ち「接」】対候處和親
之国ニ候て国王ゟ書翰持参之節其都府へ罷
出帝王へ拝謁差出候儀世界普通之所計之趣
申聞候追々世界之形勢変革及候ニ付而ハ於
御国も寛永以来外国御取扱向之御制度御改
無之候而ハ相成間敷亜墨利加は条約も相済
和親之国ニも相成候儀ニ付右官吏事此節江
戸参上候儀御指許有之登

よって明日八朔を無事に仕りたく存じ奉り候、以上
豆州下田表に在留の亜墨利加官吏の事、彼国大
統領国からの書翰を持参致し江戸へ罷り出て差し出すべき旨、
大統領国から申し付けられ候に付き、江戸出府の儀を強いて
申し立て候間、追々下田奉行から応対に及び候ところ、和親
の国に候て国王から書翰持参の節、その都府へ罷り
出て帝王へ拝謁差し出し候儀は世界普通の所作の趣
申し聞け候、追々世界の形勢変革に及び候に付いては、御
国においても寛永以来外国御取扱い向けの御制度を御改め
無くては相成るまじく、亜墨利加は条約も相済み
和親の国にも相成り候儀に付き、右官吏の事この節江
戸参上候儀を御指し許し有り、登
