一、文化二（丑）年六月、会津勝手本途御納戸役を仰せ付けられた。
一、同年八月、（江戸より）罷り下ろうとしたところ、近来多病の上、年来（年齢的にも）罷り成り候間、忰・旦蔵を看病のため召し連れて罷り下りたく、これにより御雇勤を御用捨くださるよう願い奉ったところ、御下置（お許し）なく候につき、願いの上、道中看病のため召し連れて罷り下った。
一、同年九月、忰・旦蔵の願いの通り、御部屋御用人所の御雇勤を御免（免除）となり、これまで下し置かれていた

一、同年十二月、江戸表御省略任役を仰せ付けられ、席は御勘定頭の上に据え置かれ、この節より差し登らせ、来る卯年春まで差し置き、諸筋へも立ち入り、いずれとなく諸役場へ出席し、御入方減少の儀を申し談ずべき旨を仰せ付けられた。
一、同三（寅）年二月、上御屋敷人割御用を勤め候様、仰せ付けられた。
一、同年七月、河瀬重次郎の儀、御内証方御用につき会津へ差し下られたことにより、（本人が）罷り登るまでの間、右の跡（を任される）。

- In June of the second year of Bunka (Year of the Ox, 1805), he was appointed to the post of *Aizu Katte Hontō Onandoyaku* (the regular treasury officer (*o-nandō*) responsible for the domain's finances in Aizu).
- In August of the same year, when he was about to return to Aizu, as he had been suffering from frequent illness of late and had also advanced in years, he petitioned that he be excused from his hired service (*o-yatoi-kin*) so that he might bring his son Tanzō along as a caretaker during the journey home. However, his request for leave was not granted; nevertheless, having formally petitioned, he departed for Aizu with his son Tanzō accompanying him as caretaker along the road.

- In December of the same year, he was appointed to the role of *Edo-omote Goshōryaku Ninyaku* (a position established to reduce expenditures in the Edo establishment). His seat (*seki*) was placed above that of the *o-kanjō-gashira* (chief accountant). At this time he was ordered to travel up to Edo and remain stationed there until the spring of the coming Year of the Rabbit (*u no toshi*), to enter into dealings with various quarters, attend the offices of the various posts, and consult on measures to reduce expenditures (*o-irikata genshō*).
- In February of the third year (Year of the Tiger, 1806), he was ordered to carry out the *kami-o-yashiki hitowari goyō* (the duty of assigning personnel within the upper residence).
- In July of the same year, as Kawase Jūjirō was dispatched to Aizu on business relating to private financial affairs (*go-naishō-kata goyō*), [he was ordered to fill] the latter's post in the interim until Kawase's return to Edo.
