（御擬作を）召し上げられ、数十年精を出して相勤め、忰（せがれ）旦蔵の儀も勤功がある先（前例）につき、親（父）の御擬作のうち壱石壱人扶持を減じ、拾壱石三人扶持を下され、常詰御用所役人として召し出され、御近習二ノ寄合席に成し置かれる旨を仰せ出された。
一、同月、御用所の御雇御用をも相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。
但し、御内証方稽古懸りに相心得るよう仰せ付けられた。
一、同年九月、親（父）吉郎治が拝領し置かれていた

御紋の麻の御上下を、冥加のために着用仕りたい旨を願われた。
一、同年十二月、当夏中の御目見の御用が繁多なところ、精を出して相勤めた段を仰せ出された。

—[the *o-gisaku* stipend was] revoked. Having diligently served for several decades, and in recognition of the fact that [his] son Tanzō likewise had meritorious service, from within the father's *o-gisaku* grant, one *koku* and one person's stipend (*ichi-nin fuchi*) were reduced, and he was granted eleven *koku* and three persons' stipend (*san-nin fuchi*). He was summoned as a permanent-duty (*jō-zume*) *go-yōsho* official, and it was announced that he was to be placed in the *go-kinshū ni-no yoriai* (second-tier attendants' assembly) seat.
- In the same month, he was ordered to additionally serve in the *go-yōsho* temporary hire duties.
- Note: He was instructed to regard himself as being assigned to the *go-naishō-kata keiko-gakari* (private/inner domain practice supervisor).
- In the ninth month of the same year, [his] father Kichirōji petitioned to be permitted to wear, as an act of thanksgiving (*myōga*), the formal hemp ceremonial *kamishimo* bearing the lord's crest (*go-mon*), which had previously been granted to him as a gift.

- In the sixth month of the eleventh year of the same era (Year of the Dog), it was announced that during the previous winter, at the time of the *go-ninkан* (official appointment ceremony), he had diligently served despite the numerous duties involved.
- In the eighth month of the same year, he was appointed to the temporary post (*tōza kari-yaku*) of *mitsugoto go-yō* (secret/confidential affairs duty).
