今之人物守＿二渾噩＿一￣ヲ而悠閑￣ナル謝＿二￣シテ
紛華＿一￣ヲ而鎮定￣ナルノ之徒恭倹推譲安
＿レ節￣ニ死＿レ￣スル義￣ニ之士及￣ヒ其姿之鸞鳳￣ナル
其寸之文章￣ナルハ則姑￣ラク舎￣ヒテ而不＿レ論焉
若夫￣レ掌＿二握￣シテ兵権＿一￣ヲ威武以一＿二変￣シ
天下＿一￣ヲ辟＿二易￣シ萬人￣ヲ於喑噁叱咤＿一￣ニ
現代語訳
今の人物で渾噩（素朴な本性）を守って悠閑とし、紛華（華美な装飾）を謝して鎮定なる者たち、恭倹推譲で節を安んじ義に死する士、及びその姿が鸞鳳のように美しく、その才が文章に優れた者については、ひとまず置いておいて論じないこととしよう。
もしそれ兵権を掌握し、威武をもって天下を一変させ、万人を喑噁叱咤の中で辟易させる者については

As for the people of today who maintain their simple nature (konkō) and remain leisurely, who reject ornate splendor (funka) and remain calm and steady, those who are respectful, frugal, deferential, content with moderation, and willing to die for righteousness, as well as those whose appearance is as beautiful as the phoenix and whose talent excels in literature—let us set these aside for now and not discuss them.
But as for those who grasp military power in their hands, transform the entire realm through martial authority, and cause ten thousand people to cower in silent submission through their fierce commands—
