まつれるさちとふ魚の天の下にいてり

現代語訳
祀られているサチ（幸）という魚が天下に出でて輝いている。その輝く金の鱗にも決して劣ることなく、この書物もまた素晴らしい御国の光となることであろうと、とても喜ばしく尊く思って、このように申し上げるのは上田仲敏である。
英語訳
The fish called Sachi (Fortune) that is enshrined appears throughout the realm, shining brightly. Not inferior in the least to those gleaming golden scales, this book too shall become a splendid light of our noble land - it is with great joy and reverence that I, Ueda Nakatoshi, speak thus.
