（国に出て、迎えて采轡を献じ、公は喜んでその宅地を復した。これより嗣公は始めて国に入るとき迎え拝して轡を献じることを常とした。子孫相承けること既に二百年、その法はますます精巧となった）

六月米
阿野村 稲の熟することが甚だ早く、昔は六月朔日の焼米を貢進したということ。今も六月中に新米を国君に献ず。明暦版の道中記にも「阿のう村六月一日に新米出づ」と記し、阿野の六月米として世に名高く、早米の第一である。また此の村は西瓜を名産として、その味は最も美味である。

June Rice
Ano Village: The rice ripens extremely early, and in the past they would tribute roasted rice on the first day of the sixth month. Even now they present new rice to the domain lord in the sixth month. The Meireki edition of the travel record also notes "new rice emerges on the first day of the sixth month in Anō village." It is famous throughout the world as Ano's June rice and is the foremost early rice. This village also produces watermelon as a specialty, and its flavor is most delicious.
