正則国守の時其先 蹤（しやう）にこりて数百
間の大なる蔵三 棟（むね）を清須の城内に
作りて多くの兵糧【粮】を納め置し
慶長十五年御 遷府（せんふ）の時其清
須の三ツ蔵を此広井
にうつし多くの蔵を
作りそへ給へりと
いへども猶其 旧名（きうみやう）

広井（ひろい）の官倉（かんそう）に貢米（みつぎまい）を納める図
太閤秀吉公が小田原の北条氏を退治した時、尾張国主織田信雄公が加勢したが、兵糧の蓄えがなくて用途に欠いたということである。福島正則が国守の時、その先例に懲りて数百間の大きな蔵三棟を清須の城内に作って多くの兵糧を納め置いた。慶長十五年に御遷府の時、その清須の三つ蔵をこの広井に移し、多くの蔵を作り添えなさったけれども、なおその旧名によって今に至るまで三つ蔵と呼んでいる。

When Taiko Hideyoshi subjugated the Hojo clan of Odawara, Lord Oda Nobukazu of Owari Province provided assistance, but it is said that he lacked sufficient provisions and ran short of supplies. When Fukushima Masanori became the provincial lord, learning from this precedent, he built three large granaries of several hundred ken within Kiyosu Castle and stored abundant provisions there. During the relocation of the government in Keicho 15 (1610), these three granaries of Kiyosu were moved to this Hiroi location, and many additional granaries were built. However, due to the old name, they are still called the "Three Granaries" to this day.
