馬なかりければ乙子村に来りて此弥助が飼置し雑役馬(ざうやくうま)
をかりて鐙(あぶみ)片(かた)しわら沓(ぐつ)片(かた)しにて乗出し則弥助を口

三位法印宅跡《小字注:同村にあり》法印は長尾武蔵守吉房で、秀吉公の姉の婿、秀次公の実父である。初め当村の人で弥助といったが、登用されて武蔵守に任じられ繁栄した。祖父物語に、信長公が美濃の堂洞を攻めた時、藤吉郎が初めて騎馬で随従したが乗馬がなかったので、乙子村に来てこの弥助が飼っていた雑用馬を借りて、鐙片方、沓片方で乗り出し、すなわち弥助を口取りにして行ったと見えているのはこの人である。《小字注:尾張人物志略には大高の出身と記しているが》《小字注:当村に今もなお侍屋敷と称する地があって、当村との関係が深いので、しばらくここに挙げて後の考証に備える》

Site of Sanmi Hōin's Residence{{Small print: Located in the same village}} The Hōin was Nagao Musashi-no-kami Yoshifusa, brother-in-law of Lord Hideyoshi's elder sister and biological father of Lord Hidetsugu. Originally a person of this village called Yasuke, he was promoted and appointed Musashi-no-kami and prospered.
